About this tool

What it does

Crop a region of a video, reframe it to a new aspect ratio (16:9, 9:16, 1:1 and more) with a blurred or colored background, trim the length, add a PNG overlay — and export the result as an MP4.

Why use it

Everything happens locally in your browser. Your video is never uploaded anywhere, so it's completely private and works without an account, install, or watermark — and it's free.

Supported formats

You can open MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV files. Within those, the supported codecs are the ones your browser can play — usually H.264, H.265, VP9 and AV1. The result is always exported as an MP4, which plays everywhere.

Frame rate & color space

The frame rate always stays the same as in the original file — including variable frame rate, which is kept as-is rather than converted to a constant rate. The exported video always uses SDR Rec. 709 colors, so HDR sources (like videos straight from an iPhone) get tone-mapped down to SDR.

Supported browsers

Chrome 94 or newer, Edge 94 or newer, Safari 26 or newer, or Firefox 130 or newer (desktop). The tool relies on new built-in video processing APIs (WebCodecs), so older browsers won't work.
